Important Tryout Information
Before registering, please review the skill and conditioning requirements below to ensure your daughter is physically and mentally prepared for the tryout process.

Advance online registration is required. Registration and payment will not be accepted on the day of tryouts.

Athletes are required to attend only one tryout. Please do not register for multiple sessions.

A non-refundable tryout fee of $20 plus HST is required at the time of registration.

Please ensure your daughter arrives on time and prepared to participate.
What to Wear
Athletes should wear:

A gymnastics leotard
-
Bare feet
-
Hair securely tied back
-
No jewellery
If your daughter does not have a leotard, she may wear fitted bike-style shorts and a fitted athletic tank top.
For safety reasons, please do not wear baggy clothing, ballet skirts, tights, track pants, leggings, or sweatshirts.

Our coaches consider a variety of physical abilities, skills, and personal qualities when determining whether an athlete is suited for a Showcase or Xcel Team. The qualities listed below are an important part of the evaluation process; however, additional factors will also be considered.

Showcase Team Commitment
Showcase Teams require a 10-month commitment from September through June. Athletes train between 4 and 8 hours per week, depending on their age and team placement.

Xcel Team Commitment
The Xcel Teams require a 12-month commitment from July through June. Athletes train between 12 and 16 hours per week and compete in approximately three to four competitions throughout the season.
Athletes Currently Training at Another Gym
If your gymnast is currently a member of a competitive team at another gym, please do not sign-up for a try-out, email us to arrange a private assessment.
