Krista Johnsen
Krista has so many amazing qualities that will help your children reach their full potential in gymnastics. Her encouragement and kind heart will be sure to make your child smile and love gymnastics - all while helping them perfect their skills! She has been teaching gymnastics for 30 years, and for the last 16 right here in Milton. Krista is dedicated to making the gym a safe and enjoyable space for all!

Mia Levstik
Mia has recently transitioned from a high level Provincial gymnast to an experienced provincial coach. Mia has developed many young athletes to reach their full potential from recreational to as high as the provincial level and continues to aspire for more. Her coaching style is well balanced with both high expectations with room for fun and play! Mia is dedicated to making the gym a safe space for athletes of all levels!

Heather Rivers
Heather has been working in the gymnastics industry for 24 years in admin and coaching positions - the last 13 have been right here in Milton! She has also been apart of the Ontario Development Program (ODP) for over 10 years as a chief assessor and committee member. Heather is also certified in First Aid/CPR/AED and Health and Safety. She is very knowledgeable with our uplifter system and is always happy to assist with any registration questions!​

Candice Feinrip
Candice has been coaching gymnastics in Ontario for 26 years. Her passion for the technical details of the sport, coupled with her commitment to solid basics and physical conditioning, ensures all athletes have the foundations in place to attain their goals. Candice encourages, supports and guides the athletes both in and out of the gym. In addition to her commitment to coaching gymnastics, Candice has been teaching with the Halton District School Board for the past 12 years.

Maddie Denis
Maddie trained in gymnastics and trampoline here in Milton for many years before
transitioning into coaching. Her passion for the sport is contagious and her encouraging
attitude balanced with knowledge and experience makes her a well-rounded coach. Maddie has helped many young gymnasts develop new skills and accomplish goals from
recreational to showcase level, and is aspiring for more! Maddie is dedicated to making the

Joycelyn Dailey
Joycelyn trained for 12 years as a gymnast and ended her training at Provincial level. She shifted to pursue an interest in volleyball where she then played 4 years at University. To give gymnasts a well-rounded athletic experience, she implements knowledge and strategies from participating and coaching both sports into her lessons. She works to create strong mindsets where athletes understand the value in feeling proud of themselves and build self-worth through this momentous sport.

Seynette Turner
Seynette is a passionate coach at Catalyst Gymnastics with a deep love for the sport. A former high-level provincial gymnast, Seynette brings personal experience and dedication to the gym every day. Seynette is working towards her Comp 1 certfification, and has coached athletes of all ages and skill levels, helping each one grow in confidence and ability. Currently, Seynette focuses on coaching her showcase teams, fostering teamwork and creativity while celebrating the joy of gymnastics.

Seanna is a Foundations and First Aid Certified gymnastics coach with three years of experience guiding athletes through the fundamentals of the sport. With a focus on building strong technique and confidence, Seanna creates a positive and encouraging environment for gymnasts to develop their skills at their own pace. Seanna is committed to fostering a love for gymnastics while helping athletes gain strength, flexibility, and discipline.

Abbie trained as a competitive provincial gymnast for 5 years, and has been immersed in the sport for over 10 years. She is a Foundations Trained coach and has worked with both recreational and competitive athletes for the past 2 years. Abbie’s goal is to help gymnasts learn new skills and help reach their goals while enjoying their gymnastics experience.

Mckenna was a competitive gymnast for 9 years, during which she developed a deep understanding and passion for the sport. Ava is a former level 10 provincial gymnast, who was coached by our very own, Candace and Krista! She is currently studying Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, and spends her weekends here with us, continuing to pursue her passion of gymnastics by encouraging and coaching young gymnasts to be the best versions of themselves! Most of all, Ava strives to make our gym a better place by ensuring her athletes are working hard and having fun!

With extensive experience working with children of diverse abilities, including those with disabilities and French-speaking backgrounds, she brings a unique sensitivity and inclusivity to her coaching. Currently completing her ECE certification, Yasmeen is dedicated to creating a fun, supportive, and empowering environment where each child feels valued and encouraged to reach their fullest potential. Her balanced coaching style emphasizes both skill development and personal growth, ensuring that every child enjoys the journey while achieving their goals.

Colbie Murray
Colbie is one of our CIT course graduates, has starting coaching and absolutely loves it! She believes there is so much joy that comes from coaching children. Colbie really enjoys helping kids build their confidence and character. As someone who was always involved in sports as a kid, she believe it’s very important to get kids emerged into sports like gymnastics early.
