RECREATION PROGRAMS

Spring 2026 Session
Registration is now open!

To make registration easier for our members, we have decided to open registration on Saturday/Sunday this season.  We know it can be challenging to be online registering during the week while at work or commuting.

 

Our Spring Session is 13 weeks Saturday/Sunday/Monday classes are 11 weeks, and the cost has been adjusted online.  Fridays are 12 weeks, and the cost online has also been adjusted.

We have added Evaluations onto your account if your child has take classes with us.  If you login to your account, and look in the "Participants" section and click on your child's name and across to the right look under "Evaluations" and if you click the dropdown you will see your child's current level.

 

If your preferred class is FULL, please place your child on the waitlist for the class. If there's enough demand and we have space and coach availability, we may be able to accommodate additional participants. PLEASE NOTE: that classes may be cancelled or rescheduled depending on athlete enrollment and coaching availability.

Please note: We DO NOT offer "TRIAL" classes, but if you sign up for a class, you have 3 classes to decide if it's a good fit or not.  If your child is not enjoying the class, please let us know prior to the 3rd class and we will refund your fees, minus any classes passed, and a $10 administration fee.

 

*Prices do not include H.S.T. or the mandatory annual Gymnastics Ontario membership fee (valid from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026).

#THISISTHETEAM​​​

Parent & Tot

Co-Ed 18 months to 3 years old

In this action filled 45 minute class, kids dive into the world of music, games and fun alongside their parent! Your little one will get to explore everything from swinging on the bars to balancing on the beam. It is the perfect activity to teach them about taking turns, sharing and making friends! Please note, Tot's must be at least 18 months on the first day of class.

Please note:

  • Please only 1 parent permitted in the gym during class. 

  • Babies in carriers/siblings are not permitted on the floor, must be left with an adult during class time.

  • Parents are welcome to "switch off" during class so both parents can have time.

​

What to Wear:

  • Little ones can wear something comfortable to move in (shorts, leggings, t-shirts) and bare feet, so they don't  slip on the mats.

  • Tutu's are adorable, but they stick to velcro and can rip, or get caught up on the bars. Safety first!

  • Parents can wear something comfortable to move around in and socks.  Please do not bring valuables with you, as changerooms, coats and boots areas are not monitored.

Mini's

Co-Ed 3 years old

This fun filled 55 minute class is for 3 year old's who are ready to take on classes solo - no more help from parents in the gym! Mini gymnasts will practice jumping, swinging, climbing, balancing and fine motor skills. This class is perfect for teaching important life skills such as taking turns, sharing and making friends!

Please note:

  • Mini's must be 3 on the first day of class.

  • Parents will not be permitted on the floor with your child.  This is an independent class.

What to wear:

  • Something comfortable to move around in.  Think shorts, t-shirts, leggings or leotards, and of course bare feet! 

  • For safety, please no skirts or tutu's, they get caught on the velcro and can get ripped, or wrapped around the bars.

Mighties

Co-Ed 4-5 years old

In this 55 minute class, kids will conquer circuit's that will help them master vaulting, swinging and balancing with guidance from their coach! This program not only teaches physical skills, but also instills the value of hard work, team work, perseverance and self belief!

Please note:

  • Mighties must be 4 within 30 days of the classes start date.​​​

What to wear:

  • Something comfortable to move around in.  Think shorts, t-shirts, leggings or leotards, and of course bare feet! 

  • For safety, please no skirts or tutu's, they get caught on the velcro and can get ripped, or wrapped around the bars.

  • Please no dangly earrings (studs ok), bracelets, necklaces or watches/fitbits. They can get taken, broken or lost.

Jr. Girls Rec

6-8 years old

In this 85 minute class, girls will step into the exciting world of Artistic gymnastics! Our dynamic program guides gymnasts through our progressive level system at their own pace. Gymnasts will get to work on skills on Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. Please note, Jr Rec athletes must be within 6-8 years old.​

Intermediate/Advanced LevelAthletes must have completed level 4 (Bronze) to join an intermediate class.

Please note:

  • Gymnasts must be 6 within 30 days of the class beginning.

What to wear:

  • Leotard, tight shorts, tight athletic top, or leggings.

  • Please no dangly earrings (studs ok), bracelets, necklaces or watches/fitbits. They can get taken, broken or lost.

  • Please do not bring valuables to class, leave them at home or with a parent.

Sr. Girls Rec

9-12 years old

In this 85 minute program, gymnasts will advance through skill levels using our progressive level system. The focus at every turn is on refining high-quality gymnastics skills, while having fun! Each level entails distinct skills for various events (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor and Conditioning) that need to be mastered before moving forward in the program. Please note that Sr rec athletes must be 9 within a month of the class start date. â€‹

Intermediate/Advanced Level:  Athletes must have completed level 4 (Bronze) to join an intermediate class.​

What to wear:

Tumbling 

6+ years old

Beginner Level Tumbling Class​

This introductory tumbling class is crafted for athletes eager to learn essential skills and progressions for some of the most popular gymnastics skills on the on floor. Participants will master proper techniques for cartwheels, limbers, handstands, bridges, and walkovers.

​

Tumbling: Walkover Intensive Class​

This specialized 55 min tumbling class concentrates on teaching walkovers through progressions, targeted drills, and the development of flexibility and strength needed to perform this skill. Athletes will use various equipment, including the tumble track, floor, trampoline, and foam pit, to enhance their abilities.

​

Tumbling: Handspring Intensive Class​

A specialized HS intensive class focusing on conditioning and through progressions, targeted drills, and the development of flexibility and strength needed to perform this skill. Athletes will use various equipment, including the tumble track, floor, trampoline, and foam pit, to enhance their abilities.

​

Please note: This class is not suitable for beginners; prior experience is required. Athletes must be able to perform a clear handstand on floor, strong cartwheel, limber and front/back walkovers.

​

Tumbling: Aerial Intensive Class​

This advanced class is specifically designed for girls focused on perfecting their aerial skills. Participants will engage with various equipment, such as the tumble track, floor, trampoline, and foam pit, to further elevate their skill level.

​

Please note: This class is not suitable for beginners; prior experience is required. Athletes must be able to perform a clear handstand on floor, strong cartwheel, limber and front/back walkovers.

Boys Recreation

5+ years old

Get ready for a 55-minute adventure in our boys’ recreational program, where strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance get a major glow-up! This ultra-cool class lets your son strut his stuff through our level system at his own speed, all while building a rock-solid self-image. He’ll dive into six thrilling events, from floor exercises to rings, vaults, parallel bars, and the legendary horizontal bar—plus, let’s not forget the awesome strength training!

Let the fun begin!

  • Boys must be 5 years old with 30 days of the class beginning.

What to wear:

  • Shorts, t-shirt, or track pants with bare feet.  

  • Please no jeans (or pants with zippers) watches, or necklaces.

Private Lessons

Catalyst Gymnastics provides Private Lessons tailored for individuals eager to master a specific skill. Pricing varies from $60 to $150 per hour, depending on the skills, and the number of participants (a maximum of three athletes is allowed in a private lesson).
